Bitten by an Olive bug – Look 1

Are you looking for some cool ways to style olive green into your wardrobe? Olive being the new neutral, is easy to mix with tonnes of patterns and fits any time of the year.

I can say that it’s an everlasting and adaptable colour out there. It brings out some extra detail to your outfit without making it look too loud.

If you’re wondering what colours to pair with it, then you should try out black, white or the shades of grey. This will allow green to do all the talking, and it doesn’t overpower your outfit with a lot of different colours. Accessories are a great way to incorporate olive green into your wardrobe. Shoes, sunglasses, belts, hats and jewellery all look great. I bet some of you are colourful like me, adding mustard yellow or orange will be the additive pop of colour to your look.

I have got 2 looks lined up ahead that you need to see. Let’s begin with our first look.

I picked up my favourite pair of an olive green skirt from my wardrobe. I love the button detailing on the front. Coupling it with black floral printed cropped blouse, gives it a more casual vibe. Florals are all about having fun with fashion and embracing the joy and romance of this season.

To add a little contrast to this look, I carried an orange sling bag. For the footwear, I decided to go for nude heels.

This look is perfect for a lunch date with your girlfriends or evening outings. It brings out the fun and playful side of you. Also, remember to not overdo the style.

Featuring in this look:

With olive being in vogue right now, there is no escaping this trend.

Look 2 will be up soon. Stay tuned.

Until next time.
